Jaden Perez to Wrestle at U20 Pan-American Championships for Puerto Rico

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — Jaden Perez of the Drexel wrestling team is set to represent team Puerto Rico at the 2026 U20 Pan-American in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The sophomore will compete in the 61kg freestyle division after qualifying for a spot on the national team back in May. The championships are scheduled for July 9-12.
The Alexandria, N.J., native competed in nine matches in tournament action in his freshman season at Drexel, placing second at the Bloomsburg Open.
