Dragon of the Week: Geiger and Sullivan

Halle Geiger and Gracie Sullivan named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week of August 25th-31st.

Halle Geiger, a member of the Drexel field hockey team, led the Dragons to a 1-1 record in the opening weekend of the 2026 season. Geiger made 11 saves over the weekend against No.13 Maryland and James Madison. The Delaware native recorded six saves against James Madison in a 1-0 victory, earning her first shutout of the year and elevating the Dragons to their first win of the season.

Gracie Sullivan, a member of the women's soccer team, was a standout in the net over the weekend. The Pennsylvania native recorded a ten-save appearance in a tie against crosstown opponent LaSalle. This marks the most saves by an individual Dragons goalkeeper in a single match since 2017. Sullivan also contributed two saves in a win over NJIT.
