Guzman Leads The Way As Men's Tennis Wraps Up Day Two of Farnsworth Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Drexel men's tennis team wrapped up the second day of the Farnsworth Invitational.

In singles, Will Burridge beat Dartmouth's Calvin Wang, 7-5, 7-6 (3). Oskar Szymczak defeated Dartmouth's Malhar Patel, 1-6, 6-2, 7-6 (2). Tarek Mo Erlewein won the first set against Dillon Beckles of Dartmouth, 6-4, before dropping the next two sets 7-5, 6-2. Anthony Moukarzel won a set but ultimately fell to Liam Channon from Purdue, 6-7 (7), 6-3, 7-5.

In doubles, Szymczak and Obrul fell to Dartmouth's Denny Bao and Puthi Pantaratorn, 8-1. Burridge and Erlewein won over Dartmouth's Enrique Collar and Koronel Halmos, 8-5. Szymczak and Obrul were defeated by Collar and Halmos, 8-2. Burridge and Erlewein dropped their set to Nikola Jovic and Jacob Lee 8-4.

Josue Guzman ended the day with a comeback win over Dartmouth's Leo Pade, dropping the first set, 7-6, before winning the next two 6-4 and 10-7.

Drexel will wrap up the Farnsworth Invitational tomorrow.
