PHILADELPHIA – Drexel Field Hockey earned its second victory of the weekend beating Saint Joseph's 4-3 in overtime. The Dragons improve to 3-1 on the season.

BY THE NUMBERS
Valentine Van Hellemont scored twice for the Dragons and added an assist.
Cato Nackaerts tallied her first goal of her collegiate career recording a goal and an assist.
Pili Lemoine recorded two assist, giving her 12 points on the season, leading the team.
Fleur Hamers recorded the game winning goal in overtime Hamers also tallied an assist.
Halle Geiger posted six saves leading the Dragons to victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dragons wasted little time before starting the scoring just under four minutes into the match, as Van Hellemont took a pass from Hamers, shielded it from defenders before firing past the keeper. Saint Joesph's would tie the game at 1 as Milou Kluyt would find the back of the cage off a penalty corner. The Dragons would respond with their own penalty corner, as Van Hellemont inserted to a waiting Lemoine who pushed it to Nackaerts as she rifled the ball past the keeper, marking Nackaerts first collegiate goal.

After St. Joe's tied the game halfway in the second quarter, Lemoine centered a pass into the middle of the circle finding Van Hellemont who put the ball in the back of the net to put the Dragons up 3-2 heading into halftime. The Dragons gave up the tying goal in the fourth quarter, which sent the game into overtime. In OT the Dragons would waste little time as less than three minutes into the period, Nackaerts would find Hamers on the backside who sent the ball past the keeper and into the net.
