2009-10: Trimmed the school record once again in the 100 back and put her name in the books for a third time with a 57.67 in the CAA Championship… recorded team-fastest times in the 100 fly, 50 back and 100 free…posted team second-bests in the 50 free, 100 back and 200 back…set a new career-best time in the 50 free with a 24.88.
2008-09: Dragons’ top swimmer in the individual medley, both back events and the 50 and 100 free…broke her own school record in the 100 back with a time of 58.31 at the CAA Championships…posted third-fastest time in school history in the 200 IM after clocking a 2:10.49 at conference championships…recorded program’s second-fastest time in the 200 back with a 2:08.77…named to Philadelphia Inquirer Women’s Swimming & Diving Academic All-Area Team.
2007-08: Shattered 100 backstroke record, Drexel’s oldest in her first career meet...lowered the mark to 58.61 at the CAA Championships where she took ninth...posted third-best time in Drexel history in the 200 back (2:09.24) at the Terrapin Cup Invitational...swam team’s fastest 50 back (27.20) in the first leg of the 200 medley relay at CAA Championships... recorded second fastest 50 free time on team with a 25.36 at Terrapin Cup Invitational.
Background: A seven-time Romanian national champion in the juniors division...took second place in 50-meter backstroke in the seniors division...placed fourth at the Balcanic Meet.
Personal: Daughter of Constantin and Michaela Ana Coman...majoring in business administration.
