2010-11: Finished first in 200 yard medley relay against Widener with time of 1:52.77 and stopped the clock at 2:09.09 to take first place in 200 yard fly... also placed first first in the 200 yard backstroke with a winning time of 2:11.7 against Widener...runner up in the 200 yard freestyle (1:57.55) and clocked in at 2:11.81 in the 200 yard backstroke to finish third at La Salle...finished second in the 100 and 200 yard fly and took first in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:40.14 at Loyola...broke the school record in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:48.36 at the Terrier Invitational...touched the wall at 59.63 to secure first place in the 100 yard butterfly against UMBC...placed ninth in the 200 yard fly at the CAA’s with a school record time of 2:02.43...broke school record for the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:31.00 at the CAA’s.
2009-10: Set a new mark in the 200 back by shaving almost three full seconds off of her previous time recording a 2:06.28 in the CAA Championship, a team-best…also added the school’s second-best time in the 200 fly with a 2:05.49…set a career fastest and team best 400 IM time of 4:48.41…part of the foursome that notched a new school record with a 1:48.40 in the 200 medley relay.
Background: Member of an All-American 200 medley relay team in 2008…an NCSA junior qualifier…also played soccer at Cherry Hill East.
Personal: Daughter of Ken and Sue Faykes…majoring in design and merchandising.
