2010: Played in 20 games, including 19 starts…lead the team with 10 assists…tied for fourth in the CAA for assists and assists per game…registered a pair of assists in the win over opponents Saint Joseph’s, Delaware, and overtime victory against VCU...received the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award.
2009: Named CAA Defender of the Year after heading the Drexel defense from the center back position…added three goals and five assists on the season…her first career goal was the game-winner in the Dragons’ triumph over Saint Joseph’s…also scored against Temple and Hofstra…selected Second Team All-CAA and Second Team All-Region…recorded an assist in Drexel’s 4-3 victory over No. 10 Duke…converted two of three penalty strokes on the season.
2008: Played in 15 games and made seven starts despite missing games to represent Uruguay at the Junior National Championships during the season…named to the CAA's All-Rookie Team…registered assist on game-winning goal against Temple…also picked up an assist in win over Lehigh...led team with two defensive saves.
Background: Played on the national team alongside current Drexel midfielder Carolina Gibernau…participated in the Pan Am Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2007…served as a member of the under-17, under-18 and under-21 national teams….selected as the Uruguayan Junior Olympic Field Hockey Athlete of the Year in 2006.
Personal: Daughter of Andres Sanguinetti and Maria Martinez…majoring in environmental engineering.
