Wrestled at 184 for the Dragons and finished with a 15-10 record…recorded eight decisions, two major decisions and five falls…finished 3-3 at the EIWA Championships with wins over Joe Accousti of Sacred Heart, David Key of Navy and Brian Bonino of Columbia…pieced together a six-match win streak including an undefeated showing at the ESU Open and two matches of the Keystone Classic.
The Dragons top wrestler at 197 pounds…competed to a 6-5 overall record and 4-1 in duals…opened the year with three major victories against Sacred Heart, LIU and Bloomsburg…recorded two consecutive wins by pin…beat Nick Fierro (SHU) in 6:17 and T.J. Qualified for his first-ever NCAA Wrestling Championships appearance after placing sixth at the EIWA Championships…seeded 33rd at 197 pounds at the NCAA Championships…ranked as high as 28th nationally by Wrestlestat…went 17-17 overall with a 9-9 mark in duals and an 8-8 record in tournament action…was 10-7 in decisions and won five matches by fall…tied for third on the team in victories and falls…placed fifth at the Keystone Classic, going 4-2 overall with a pair of pins…competed at the Southern Scuffle, going 2-2…had his quickest pin of the season against American’s William Jarrell, ending the match in 40 seconds…notched his first-career victory over a ranked opponent with a 5-4 decision against 11th-ranked Nick Reenan of NC State on Jan. 17, a match in which he never trailed…followed that upset with a 10-3 decision over Binghamton’s Sam DePrez for his third dual victory in a row…topped No. 29 Cole Urbas of Penn by way of 7-5 decision, avenging an earlier loss in the fourth-place match of the Keystone Classic…opened the EIWA Championships by pinning Hofstra’s Trey Rogers in 3:59…bested No. 24 Jake Koser of Navy in the consolation quarterfinals, 5-4, to book a trip to the NCAA Championships…member of the team that owned the nation's highest team GPA (3.59) for the second year in a row.

Appeared in 23 bouts on the year, all at 174 pounds…went 11-2 on the campaign including 6-6 in duals, 5-6 in tournaments and 3-5 against EIWA foes…went 6-9 in decisions, 3-2 in major decisions and 1-1 in wins by fall, including his fastest of 35 seconds against The Citadel’s Michael Lopouchanski (Nov. 10)…placed fourth at the Keystone Classic (Nov. 18)…member of the team that owned the nation’s highest team GPA at 3.63.
2017-18 / Freshman
Redshirted…finished with a 9-4 record wrestling unattached at 165 and 174 pounds…placed fifth at the Millersville Open…champion at the Wilkes Open…had two major decision victories.
Background: A two-time New Jersey state placer from Woodbridge High School… placed third at states in his senior season and fourth as a junior…earned a third place finish at the 2016 Beast of the East Invitational and picked up fourth place at the 2016 Super 32 Championships…a NHSCA Freshman National Champion…placed third at the NHSCA Junior Nationals…was ranked 15th in the nation at 170 pounds…also played football as a freshman…an honor roll student.
