Heather Schnepf joins the Drexel Field Hockey staff after a standout career at the University of Iowa. Schnepf's duties with the Dragons will include working with Drexel's defensive unit as well as assisting in the program's recruiting and alumnae relations.
Schnepf led the Hawkeyes to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances and was twice named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. She recorded 11 goals, 13 assists and 16 defensive saves in her collegiate career and was a First Team All-American as a senior. She was also a member of the Midwest High Performance Team and the USA-B squad that faced Sony Japan, the Canadian National Team and the USA-A squad.
Last season, Schnepf served as a student assistant coach at Iowa as she completed her bachelor of science in athletic training. She has previously served as a coach at various field hockey camps the Futures program since 2004.
Schnepf is a native of Medford Lakes, N.J. and graduated from Lenape High School where she also earned First Team All-America honors.
