Dimitrije Ibrocic is in his second season with the Dragons after being elevated to assistant coach in September 2023. The Drexel rowing alum previously worked as a volunteer assistant during the 2022-2023 season.
In 2022-2023, he worked with the Freshmen 8+, leading the team to a gold medal at the Dad Vail Regatta. Dimitrije also played a role in the team achieving its best IRA rankings in program history.
As a rower for the Dragons, he was a team captain in 2021-2022 and led the team to the first “sweep” at the Dad Vail Regatta, winning gold at all three varsity events where he contributed from the 6 seat of the V8+. Throughout his career, he medaled two more times at the Dad Vail Regatta, winning silver in 2019 and bronze in 2021. Ibrocic was an IRCA Scholar Athlete his junior and senior seasons, and was the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Performer of the Year in 2021-22.
Dimitrije graduated with a degree in Finance and Business Analytics in September 2022.
