2013-14: In the fall, stopped the clock second overall in the Navy Day Regatta...member of second varsity eight shell that finished first of 25in Schuylkill Regatta...placed fourth overall in Frostbite Regatta.
2012-13: Won the men’s varsity four event at the Bergen Cup and took second-place at the Kerr Cup…won a bronze medal in the men’s varsity four grand final at the Knecht Cup…in the fall, registered second in the men’s top junior varsity eight at the Frostbite Regatta…placed second out of 10 entries in the men’s second varsity eight at the Navy Day Regatta…runner-up at the Rumson Boat Race.
2011-12: Rowed five seat in the freshman eight boat that took second place at the 2012 Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta.
Background: Three-year varsity ice hockey player at King Philip Regional High School...also, qualified and competed at the 2011 Massachusetts Track and Field competition.
Personal: Son of Susan and Joseph Murphy.
