2016-17: Appeared in every tournament as a junior…sank a 20-foot chip in sudden death to give Drexel the win in the Explorer Match Play Championship against Fairleigh Dickinson…shot a three-under-par 210 over three rounds at the Elon Phoenix Invitational…concluded the event with a 68 on the final day, his best round of the season…had his best finish of the year in the Navy Fall Classic, taking third place with a one-under-par 70…led the team to a second place finish at the Coca-Cola Lehigh Valley Invitational…he tied for fifth overall with a three-over-par 147…ended his junior year with a 219 (+3) at the CAA Championships in Midlothian, Va...a CAA Commissioner's Award winner for academics.
2015-16: Completed a solid first season with the team after transferring from Lackawanna College…showed signs of his potential…fired two rounds under par during the spring, including a two-under-par 70 at the Anteater Invitational…he tied for fifth overall in the 54-hole tournament…also shot a one-under-par 71 at the Seahawk Invitational in Wilmington, N.C…averaged 76.2 strokes per round…a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award winner.
2014-15: Did not play.
2013:14: Played at Lackawanna College...was named NJCAA Division II First Team All-Region, First Team All-Freshman and a Second Team All-American...his team finished seventh in the NJCAA national tournament...was the 2014 Pennsylvania Public Links Champion and finished second in the Philadelphia Amateur.
Background: Attended Garden Spot High School, where he holds the school record for best round...played varsity all four seasons.
Personal: Son of Karen and Jim Fricke...one of three children...majoring in business.
