Hamza Laalej joined the Drexel Tennis coaching staff during the fall of 2018 as an undergraduate assistant.
Laalej helped the Dragons to set a new program record his senior year with 14 wins on the season, finishing 14-7 (2-1 CAA). He went 17-12 his senior year playing primarily in the No. 1 spot and finished his career with 62 singles wins, which broke the program record from 2015 (Badr Ouabdelmoumen, 54). For his performance, Laalej was also awarded All-CAA Second Team Singles for a second time in his career.
