Erin Zwier, a former varsity eight rower for the Dragons, lends her expertise to Drexel crew as a second-year assistant coach. Zwier will assist with daily aspects of the program, including recruiting, fundraising, conditioning, race preparation, scouting, scheduling and travel.
Zwier was a four-year member of Drexel women’s crew and stroked the varsity eight through three of the most successful seasons in Drexel history. Zwier rowed in the varsity eight boat that won three consecutive Colonial Athletic Association championships, lost only two regular season races total in her junior and senior year and won the first Dad Vail medal in Drexel women’s history. Zwier was also a member of the scull that was invited to compete at the 2005 Henley Regatta in England.
