Serving as interim head coach of the women’s squad, Schamberg led the Dragons to a fine season, capped by a conference title as the women’s varsity eight captured the Lela K. Kerr Cup. As an assistant in 2005, she guided the Dragon women to a fourth-place finish in the second eight competition at the Dad Vail Regatta, their best finish at the prestigious event. A 2004 graduate of Ohio State University, Schamberg rowed for the Buckeyes' club crew program that was the first women's club team to make it to the grand finals of the ECAC regatta. Schamberg served as an assistant coach with the Ohio State club prior to graduation. Schamberg received a master's degree in education from Drexel University in 2006.
