Kerri DiPietro joined the Drexel sports medicine department in 2014. She works primarily with the women's basketball team and men's and women's crew at Drexel.
DiPietro arrived at Drexel after working for NovaCare Rehabilitation where she was contracted to Villanova University and worked with the men’s soccer team. Prior to her time at NovaCare, DiPietro was an intern in the athletic training department at Villanova, where she worked closely with the field hockey and women's lacrosse teams. DiPietro also served as head athletic trainer for Windham High School in Connecticut from 2009-11.
Kerri is currently a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). She has two publications in the Journal of Athletic Training, “Undergraduate Athletic Training Students’ Influences on Career Decisions After Graduation” (Nov/Dec 2012) and “Perceptions of Female Athletic Training Students on Motherhood in the Division 1 Clinical Setting” (Sept/Oct 2013). Kerri has presented both manuscripts at national conventions. DiPietro, née Gavin, received a bachelor of science in athletic training from East Stroudsburg in 2009 and a master of arts in exercise science from the University of Connecticut in 2011.
Kerri and her husband, Greg, currently reside in Bridgeport, Pa., with their son A.J.
