Kim Chiarelli joined the Drexel Athletics staff in August, 2012 as the Athletic Communications Assistant. She graduated from Drexel in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and a concentration in public relations.
As a student-athlete, Chiarelli had a four-year career with the women’s soccer team and served as a captain her senior year. During her fifth year as a Dragon, she played and started as goalie for the field hockey team.
In 2009, she received her first co-operative position at the Philadelphia Electric Company as Communication and Media Assistant. Then in 2010, she received a position at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as Communication and Editing Assistant.
She currently serves as the Drexel athletic communications contact for men’s and women’s tennis and men’s and women’s swimming and diving. In addition, Chiarelli assists at a wide variety of Drexel home events including all men’s and women’s basketball games.
