Allison Campbell is Drexel’s Manager of Marketing and Fan Engagement, a title she received in October of 2019. Campbell is also a member of the Drexel Athletics Culture Committee and Dragon Women in Sports Committee. In her current role, Campbell is the marketing contact for men’s basketball, women’s basketball, wrestling, men’s lacrosse and women’s soccer. She oversees marketing-related social media efforts for the department as well as promotional efforts for student and fan engagement.
Campbell was hired as the Coordinator of Marketing and Tickets in August of 2016. In this role, Campbell facilitated ticket office operations and was the primary marketing contact for wrestling, women’s lacrosse, women’s soccer and squash. She was also responsible for overseeing all external relations student staff.
Campbell graduated from Drexel University in 2016 with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration. During her time at Drexel, Campbell gained experience working in the Athletic Department through various positions. She spent her senior year working as the marketing assistant for the wrestling team where she assisted the staff in creating social media content, designing graphics, promoting home matches and planning the team’s annual Spirit Night promotion. Campbell also served as the Recreational Athletics Department Coordinator of Student Staff while on co-op during the spring and summer of 2015. In this role, she oversaw student staff and managed the hiring and training processes. Campbell also held various student positions within the Recreational Athletic Department throughout her four years at Drexel, working up to a Facility Manager.
As an undergraduate, Campbell interned with the Philadelphia Union Major League Soccer team as an Event Operations intern during the summer of 2014. She facilitated all Union Mobile Tour grassroots marketing events to help promote games and increase brand awareness. On game day she gained experience working in the press box as well as in fan engagement and partner activation.
Campbell is a native of Cinnaminson, N.J. and currently resides in the city of Philadelphia.
