Bio
2017: Started and played in 15 games as a junior… led the team with five goals while also adding three assists for a team-high of 13 points… earned First Team All-CAA and Second Team All-East Region honors for her performance on the season… third all-time in points, goals and assists after just three seasons of play… scored the game-winning goals in a 2-1 victory against Villanova and a 1-0 win over Towson… a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll recipient.
2016: Started and played in every game as a sophomore…led the squad in points with 17 on the season and was second on the team with six goals on the year…also led the team in assists with five…two of her goals proved to be game-winners…is tied for third all-time in career points, fourth in career goals, and tied for eighth in career assists after just two seasons of play… earned First Team All-CAA honors for her performance on the season…named to the CAA All-Tournament team for her performance in the Dragons’ two conference playoff games…also earned Second Team NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors...2016 CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award winner.
2015: Recorded a team-leading 11 goals and 25 points as a rookie, a single-season program-best…also matched the program record for game-winning goals in a single season with four…after just one season she ranks eighth all-time in career goals and 10th in career points for Drexel…her three assists on the year also tied for team-leader…started all 18 contests as a freshman…was recognized as CAA Rookie of the Week three times over the course of the season…was named the 2015 CAA Rookie of the Year…also earned a spot on Second Team All-CAA and the All-Rookie squad...named to the Third Team NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region…a 2015 CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award winner.
Background: Captained her Moorestown Friends High School team to the NJSIAA Non-Public South Sectional Championship…finished her senior year with 24 goals and 12 assists on her way to being named team MVP…was named to First Team All-Friends League as well as both New Jersey and Pennsylvania All-State Teams…also a captain for her PDA Fusion club team which she led to the NPL U17 National Championship in 2014…also played basketball…an honor roll student.
Personal: Daughter of Paul and Grace Kara…has two older brothers, Michael and Robert…majoring in engineering.
