Assistant Coach Shawn Markey’s wife, Alicia, will join the coaching ranks as an assistant coach this season for the Dragons. She competed under Bronsdon and was a team captain during the 2000-01 season. Alicia currently ranks among Drexel’s all-time top five list in four events: third in the 500 freestyle (5:05.76), third in the 1,000 freestyle (10:34.78), fifth in the 1,650 freestyle (17:54.42) and fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:54.56).
