2016-17: Senior campaign…Had season bests of 24.24 in the 50 free prelims and 58.54 in the 100 fly prelims at the 2017 CAA Championships…Also had season bests of 53.24 in the 100 free at the 2016 Patriot Invitational, 1:58.29 in the 200 free against Georgetown, 5:17.74 in the 500 free against Howard/St. Peter’s, 34.22 in the 50 breast against Howard/St. Peter’s and 1:00.97 in the 100 IM at the Patriot Invitational…Drexel women finished 4th of 7 at the 2017 CAA Championship with a score of 443.
2015-16: Named to the CAA Women’s All-Academic Team…Received the team’s Scholar Athlete award at the squad’s season-ending banquet…Swam in seven different individual events for Drexel in her junior campaign…Posted two of her top times on the year at the CAA Championships with times of 52.86 in the 100 free prelims and 57.96 in the 100 fly prelims…Also notched season bests of 24.27 in the 50 free and 1:00.74 in the 100 IM at the Patriot Invitational and 27.18 in the 50 fly against Howard…Part of the 200 free relay squad that tied the school record at 1:34.25…A CAA Commissioner’s Award winner.
2014-15: Primarily swam the most events in the 100 butterfly, 200 IM and 200 medley relay…Swam in the prelims for the 100 free and 100 fly at the CAA Championships, also swam in the 200 medley relay finals at the conference championships…her 200 fly (2:15.81) against Georgetown ranked second on the team for the season…her 100 IM time of 2:11.48 at the Pittsburgh Invitational ranked fifth on the squad for the year…had 16 top-five times on the campaign… named to the 2014-15 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women’s Swimming and Diving Team.
2013-14: Member of 200 relay squad who defeated, George Washington...first place finish in the 200 relay versus Howard with a time of 1:51.30...at Frank Elm Invitational completed the 100 IM with a preliminary time of 2:10.69 and took home the twelfth overall with a 2:10.03, finished eighth in the 400 medley relay, ninth in the 800 free relay and 12th in the 400 free relay…finished seventh overall in the 200 medley relay with teammates Katie Duggan, Rachel Bernhardt and Brianna Bentz and took eighth in the 800 free relay at the CAA Championships.
Background: Four-year letterwinner and three year All-American recipient at Saline…went through four undefeated regular seasons…four-time SEC champions…two-time state champions…one-time state runners up…four year all state as well as all SEC swimmer…holds varsity records in the 100 fly, 200 free relay, and 200 medley relay…state record in the 200 medley relay.
Personal: Daughter of Cheryl and Wei…majoring in biological sciences.
