Anne Marie Devlin joined the Drexel Tennis coaching staff during the fall of 2018 as an assistant coach before being elevated to the role of head women’s tennis coach in the summer of 2019. Devlin enters her fourth year at the helm of women's tennis in the 2022-23 season.
Devlin helped guide the women’s program to a fifth-place finish in the conference and a spot in the quarterfinals of the CAA tournament in her first season as assistant coach. In addition, she coached Salma Ziouti to First Team All-CAA honors and a place on the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team.
In the classroom, women’s tennis received the NCAA’s Academic Performance Program public recognition award for the 10th-straight year, placed five on the ITA All-Academic Scholar Athlete list and was honored an ITA All-Academic Team.
Prior to arriving at Drexel, Devlin served as the Director of Junior Tennis at the Germantown Cricket Club where she organized and ran all programming for club juniors. She also taught players at all levels, including juniors and adults, in private and group lesson settings.
In addition, Devlin gained relevant experience as the Assistant Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at La Salle University where she assisted the head coach in on and off-court aspects of developing a Division I Men’s and Women’s Tennis Program.
Devlin is a 2016 graduate from Saint Joseph’s with a degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services and a minor in Sociology.
