2013-14: Finished her career in the top 10 for career doubles wins at Drexel with 39…went 12-9 playing primarily No. 3 singles and 9-7 in doubles playing primarily with Zeynep Mafa as a senior…named the Colonial Athletic Association Doubles Performer of the Week with Mafa on Feb. 26…competed in the doubles main draw at the ITA Northeast Regionals.
2012-13: Third Team All-CAA selection in doubles with teammate Zeynep Mafa…defeated nationally ranked junior, Natalie Blosser, of Harvard, 6-4, 6-4, in the first round of the ITA Regional Championships…advanced to the third round of ITA Regional Championships after a second round win over Quinnipiac…reached second round at ITA with teammate Zeynep Mafa in doubles…during season, went on a six game winning streak with teammate Mafa in doubles.
2011-12: Won her singles flight at the Saint Joseph’s Invitational…advanced to the finals of the doubles draw of that tournament with partner Zeynep Mafa before the event was suspended due to rain…all told, won 14 singles matches to tie Mafa to lead all Dragons on both the men’s and women’s side in 2011-12…also won 13 doubles matches with Mafa (5) and Elise Leizerovich (8).
Background: Participated in the national championships in her native Mexico, winning the consolation bracket in the U-16 age group...also a state, regional and sectional champion in that age group...earned several U-21 national tournament titles.
Personal: Daughter of Leticia Pacheco and Francisco Rosales...plans to major in chemical engineering...full name is Marcela Denisse Rosales Pacheco.
