Wrestled to a 6-5 overall record as the Dragons primary starter at 141 pounds…opened the season on a four match win streak in dual competition including a season opening pin at 1:44 against Vincent Milazzo (Sacred Heart) followed by three decision victories over Drew Witham (LIU), AJ Poindexter and Shawn Nonaka (George Mason)… finished fourth at the EIWA Championships after wrestling to a 2-2 record…tallied two victories over Patrick Ryan from American (6-4) and Vinny Vespa from Hofstra (3-0)…lost a tough 3-0 matchup to Connor McGonagle (Lehigh) in the consolation finals for third place…made his first collegiate appearance at the NCAA Tournament…drew two tough matchups against No. 2 Nick Lee (Penn State) and No. 18 Parker Filius (Purdue)… a member of the team that owned the nation’s seventh highest team GPA at 3.455…selected as the Most Improved Wrestler at the team’s year end awards.
