Wrestled at 174 and went 25-4…completed seven decision victories, one major decision, two tech falls and 13 falls…opened season with a nine-match win streak, including an undefeated showing at the ESU Open and Keystone Classic…defeated then No. 19 Gerrit Nijenhuis to open season…defeated then No. 18 Nick Incontrera of Penn…finished regular season on a nine-match win streak…defeated Incontrera once more to become the EIWA Champion in 174…became Drexel’s first EIWA Champion since the 2016 season and third overall since the program joined the conference…also Drexel’s first ever conference champion in the 174lb weight class…defeated No. 24 Joel Devine (3-1 Dec), No. 26 Tyler Eischens (Fall 2:46) and No. 18 Lance Runyon (Fall, 3:33) in the NCAA Tournament…defeated by No. 5 Michael Kemerer of Iowa with a 5-2 decision…received EIWA Academic Achievement Award.
The Dragons top competitor at 174 pounds in his sophomore season…wrestled to a 9-3 overall record and led the team in wins…went undefeated in all five dual matches…opened the year with back to back pins against Grant Horn of Sacred Heart (1:10) and James Langan of LIU (5:45)…followed it up with two decision victories over Ross McFarland (Hofstra) and Paul Pierce (George Mason)…wrapped up the regular season with a pin against Angel Garcia (Rider) in 2:38…recorded the highest finish for the Drexel at the EIWA Championships…reached a career high second place with a 2-1 record on the weekend…defeated Dean Caravela (Navy) 10-3 and Jake Logan (Lehigh) 2-1…lost a close 2-1 decision to Ben Pasiuk (Army) in the championship matchup…earned his second consecutive automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and was ranked No. 19 at 174 pounds…selected No. 14 Hayden Hastings (WYO) in the first round of the tournament…was one of only two Dragons to advance to the day two and was the only wrestler to record two wins…took a 3-1 decision from Jacob Nolan (BING) and pinned Trent Munoz (ASU) in 1:36…lost a tough 5-1 decision to Logan Massa (Michigan) in the third consolation round…a 2x NWCA Scholar All-American and EIWA Academic Achievement Award recipient … a member of the team that owned the nation’s seventh highest team GPA at 3.455…received the F.C. Received National Wrestling Coaches Association Division I Scholar All-American recognition…received an automatic bid to the 2020 NCAA Wrestling Championships after finishing fourth at the EIWA Championships…seeded 28th in the 174-pound bracket at the NCAA Championships…earned the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Academic Achievement Award…posted a 19-9 overall record at 174 pounds to lead the team in wins…started all but one of Drexel’s 18 duals, going 13-4…was 6-5 in tournament action…tied for the third-most pins on the team (five) and owned the second-most technical falls (three)…secured bonus points in 11 of his 19 wins…ranked as high as No. 30 by the NCAA Coaches Panel, No. 31 by OpenMat and No. 33 in the RPI…placed third at the Keystone Classic and pinned Neil Antrassian of Penn in just 15 seconds in the consolation semifinals, the seventh-fasted fall in program history…began a six-match dual winning streak with a fall over LIU’s James Langan in Drexel’s EIWA opener on Dec. 14…followed with a technical fall against Stanford’s Jared Hill and a pin of Cal Poly’s Nathan Tausch on Dec. 19…wrapped up the dual winning streak with bonus-point victories over American and Binghamton…followed a one-point setback at Bucknell with five-straight wins, including major decisions against Columbia’s Lennox Wolak and Old Dominion’s Alex Cramer, a pin of Princeton’s Kevin Parker and a decision over No. 19 Spencer Carey of Navy…closed out the season with a 10-4 mark in his last 14 matches…secured fourth place at EIWAs by going 3-2 with a pair of wins over ranked foes…topped 16th-ranked Brandon Womack of Cornell in the quarterfinals and later bested No. 29 Sage Heller of Hofstra in the consolation semis, both by decision…member of the team that owned the nation's highest team GPA (3.59) for the second year in a row.

Appeared in 21 bouts on the year, all in tournaments at 174 pounds…went 17-4 on the year including 5-4 in decisions, 1-0 in major decisions, 2-0 in technical falls and 9-0 in wins by fall, including his fastest of 37 seconds against Virginia Tech’s Cody Hughes (Jan. 1)…finished fifth on the team with 17 wins and first with nine pins…won the Messiah Open (Feb. 2) and the Wilkes University Open (Dec. 22)…placed second at the Shorty Hitchcock Classic (Jan. 12), fourth at the East Stroudsburg Open (Nov. 10) and seventh at the Southern Scuffle (Jan. 1)…member of the team that owned the nation’s highest team GPA at 3.63.
