2008-09: Started 9-2 before an ankle injury ended his season…granted a medical hardship year by the NCAA…took second place at the Cornell Body Bar Invitational and fifth in the Bearcat Open…became the seventh Drexel wrestler to reach the 100 career win mark…placed third in the Greco-Roman National Championships.
2007-08: Set Drexel single-season record with 38 victories…needs 30 more wins to eclipse Ryan Hluschak’s all-time mark of 121…earned his third straight NCAA Championships appearance after finishing third at CAA Championships…won the Bearcat Open and Wilkes Barre Open…went 3-0 at the Lock Haven Duals, Virginia Duals and CAA Duals…ranked in the top five nationally in major decision victories with 15.
2006-07: Earned second straight berth at the NCAA Championships…finished second at the CAA Championships…upset 12th-seeded Matt Eveleth of Penn in the opening round of the national championships…his 28 victories tied for second-highest total on the team…earned six wins by major decision…won 10 of his first 11 matches of the season.
2005-06: Earned wild-card berth to the NCAA Championships after placing third at the CAA Championships…named CAA Rookie of the Year after posting a 26-12 record and an 8-1 conference mark…named to the Amateur Wrestling News All-Rookie Team at 125 pounds…compiled the second-highest freshman win total in school history…knocked off a pair of nationally-ranked wrestlers en route to a runner-up finish at the Cornell Body Bar Invitational.
Background: Two-time District 11 champion…took Northeast Regional Championship in his senior season…twice placed in Pennsylvania State AAA tournament…racked up 138 wins in his four seasons at Northampton.
