2015-16: Tallied three wins on the season, two of which were wins-by-fall…got the start at 174 pounds in EIWA dual action against Hofstra.
2014-15: Took a redshirt season…earned two victories at the East Stroudsburg Open.
Background: Wrestled all four years of high school at both Mahwah High School and Bergen Catholic…his Bergen team was a two-time non-parochial state champion and two-time district champions…in 2014 the program was ranked first in New Jersey and seventh in the nation…he earned a third place finish in The Clash tournament (Minn.) and second place finishes at the Pop & Flo National Duals…a four year member of the honor roll.
Personal: Son of Sumati Spira…has two younger siblings, Erica and Sam…majoring in engineering.
