Bio
Career: Went 46-42 across her career including records of 13-11 as a freshman, 11-11 as a sophomore, 12-10 as a junior and 10-10 as a senior, the first Drexel female to win as least 10 matches in each of her four seasons…Leaves Drexel with the most career wins (46) in the women’s program history.
2016-17: Went 10-10 on her senior campaign including 1-4 from the No. 2, 2-0 from the No. 3, 6-5 from the No. 4 and 1-1 at individuals… Played most her matches from the No. 4 position for Drexel… Her 11 wins ranked fourth on the squad… Eight of her wins came as three-game sweeps and two as four-game wins…Had a five-match winning streak from Jan. 29 to Feb. 25… Played from the No. 4 position for Drexel at its fourth-straight ‘B’ Division Kurtz Cup… One of five individuals to represent the Dragons at CSA Individual National Championships… Went 1-1 at Individuals in the Holleran Division-North Bracket… Finished the season ranked #45 individually in the nation, fourth on the team.
2015-16: Went 12-10 during her junior campaign including a 0-1 mark from the No. 1, 1-1 from the No. 2, 5-4 from the No. 3, 3-2 from the No. 4 and 1-0 from the No. 5 … Only member of the squad to play from five different spots on the season … Ranked tied for fourth with 12 victories … 10 of her 12 wins came as three-game sweeps … One of four individuals to represent the Dragons at CSA Individual National Championships … Went 2-2 at Individuals in the Holleran Division ‘A’ Bracket … Lost in the round of 16 to Bowdoin’s #41 Sarah Nelson before going 2-1 in the consolation bracket … Defeated Denison’s #73 and Brown’s #57 Skylar Murphy on her way to a consolation finals matchup with Harvard’s #49 Sophie Mehta, which resulted in a 11-5, 11-3, 11-5 loss … Finished the season ranked #56 individually in the nation.
2014-15: Made 22 appearances on the year…went 11-11 (.500) including a 4-0 mark from the No. 4 position and 4-2 from the No. 5…made a combined 10 appearances from the No. 1 -3 positions... participated in the Holleran Division Main Draw at the Individual Championships in March 2015.
2013-14: Tied for the team lead with 11 victories, going 11-7 on the year playing in the top third of the Dragons’ ladder…went 8-4 in the No. 2 position…also had a win at No. 1 and two wins at No. 3…opened her collegiate career with a 3-0 win against Johns Hopkins in the No. 2 position (Nov. 16)…helped the Dragons to a 5-4 win over Franklin & Marshall with her five-set win at No. 2 on Nov. 22…also aided a 5-4 win over Williams on Nov. 24 with a four-set win at No. 2…captured her victory in the No. 1 position on Jan. 18 against Bucknell…won seven of eight matches near the end of the regular season from Jan. 19 to Jan. 27.
Background: Attended the Marian Academy in Georgetown, Guyana...has been a part of the Guyana junior and senior national teams...was captain of the junior national team in 2012...was a part of the Guyana junior national team taht won eight-straight championships...achieved the national U-13, U-15 and U-19 titles...also won the Carribbean U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-19 championships...earned an invitation to the World Open in the Cayman Islands in 2012.
