Cayla Williams was named Drexel's Assistant Athletic Trainer in September of 2021. She had previously worked at the school as a temporary athletic trainer. Williams is responsible for the care of both the men's and women's squash programs as well as the women's lacrosse team.

Williams served as the athletic trainer for the U22 United States Women's National Field Hockey Team during August of 2021. She helped prepare the team for the Junior Pan American Championship and traveled with them to Santiago, Chile. Williams previously worked as an outreach athletic trainer at Kinetic Physical Therapy. She was the head athletic trainer for a year at Phoenixville High School, an assistant athletic trainer at Perkiomen Valley High School and Middle School East and was also the head athletic trainer for Penn Fusion Soccer Academy.

Williams graduated from Immaculata University in May of 2018 with a degree in athletic training. She earned a masters of sport science degree in sport business at Drexel. Williams is a Pennsylvania Licensed Athletic Trainer and is board certified. She is from Downingtown, Pa.
