Golf Defeats Swarthmore in Final Tune-Up Before CAA Championships

Springfield, Pa. - The Drexel golf team dropped Swarthmore in a dual golf match at Rolling Green Golf Club. The Dragons finished with a 305 (+21) on the par 71 course while Swarthmore totaled a 356 for the one-round event. Sean Semenetz earned medalist honors as the junior shot a 73.
Drexel entered seven golfers in the event while Swarthmore sent 10 to the course. Seven of the eight best scores of the day were totaled by Drexel golfers. Myles Vlachos took second with a 75 while Sahn followed up his fifth-place finish at the Lafayette Invitational this past weekend with a 76. Frank Petrash finished fifth with an 81. Steve Kidron and Steve Ransom each shot an 82 to tie for sixth. Mike Carr took eighth with an 84.
The Dragons will compete in the Colonial Athletic Association Championships in Williamsburg, Va. starting Friday, April 18.
