Swimming & Diving Travels to Binghamton for Saturday Meet

Binghamton, N.Y. - The Drexel men's and women's swimming & diving team will travel to Binghamton for a non-conference dual meet with the Bearcats on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 1:00 p.m. Both the men's and women's team are coming off of an impressive meet in which both teams defeated George Washington while the men picked up an additional win over Villanova.
For the men, T.J. Southmayd has kept his unbeaten streak in individual events intact as he won the 50 free with a time of 21.70 then won the 100 free at 47.88. He also helped the Dragons to a win in the opening event, the 200 medley relay. Last weekend's top performer on the women's side may have been Lauren Faykes. The freshman took the 200 fly in 2:12.40 then added a win in the 200 back after posting a time of 2:12.11. She also took second-place by 0.10 seconds to teammate Malin Wiberg in the 200 IM as she clocked a 2:16.11.
