Drexel Golf Wins St. Bonaventure Keenan Invitational

Olean, N.Y. - Drexel used three top 10 individual performances to win the St. Bonaventure Keenan Invitational by four strokes over second-place finisher St. Bonaventure. The Dragons were led by Trevor Sahn who took fourth individually in the event which featured 13 schools. James Braunsberg and Kyle Davis also finished among the top 10 to help lead the Dragons to the victory.
Drexel entered the second and final round in third place behind Binghamton and St. Bonaventure but all five Dragons shot impressive final rounds to help capture the title. Drexel's second round total of 289 was eight strokes better than any other school in the second round. All five of Drexel's golfers shot a 73 or below with Sahn leading the way with a 71. The former Purdue transfer also shot a 71 in the first round. Braunsberg followed his opening round 72 with a 73 to tie for seventh with Davis carding a 73 for both rounds to earn a tie for ninth. Andy Frank and Steve Kidron rebounded from rounds of 78 and 79, respectively, in the first round to shoot a 73 and 72 in the final round and tie for 19th.
