Dragons Look to Get Back in the Win Column at Georgia State

The Drexel men's basketball team looks to rebound after a tough loss at Delaware tonight at Georgia State. The Dragons have lost three in a row and have a difficult contest tonight in Atlanta, where the Panthers are 8-6 and tied for the top spot in the CAA at 2-0.
The Panthers and the Dragons are meeting for the 10th time tonight. Drexel has won seven of the first nine meetings and is 5-1 against Georgia State since the Panthers joined the Colonial Athletic Association.
Last season, Drexel swept the season series. The Dragons won in Atlanta on Jan. 10, 53-50. Evan Neisler had 18 points and eight rebounds while Leon Spencer was 6-for-6 from the floor and finished with 12 points. Joe Dukes led Georgia State with 13 points. In the rematch in Philadelphia, the Dragons were victorious, 64-47. Scott Rodgers led three Dragons in double figures with 17 points and was 10-for-11 from the line. Trey Hampton led the Panthers with 10 points.
Drexel has won two of the three meetings in Atlanta. Georgia State's last win in the series was in Atlanta during the 2007-08 season.
