Fouch was 11-for-12 from the line in the second half as the Dragons held off the Greyhounds in the final minute. The win gave Drexel Head Coach Bruiser Flint his 150th victory at the school.
Loyola had a chance to tie the game, but Brian Rudolph heaved a desperation shot after a missed free throw as time expired. The Greyhounds trailed by ten with 1:10 to play but made two three-pointers in the closing minutes. Fouch drained nine of his 10 free throws in the final minute and Frantz Massenat made one of two from the line.
After trailing by nine at the break, the Greyhounds got right back into the game in the first minute of the second half. Drexel withstood the run and increased the lead later in the half. Loyola trimmed the lead once again to four points when J'hared Hall scored a bucket that counted, but was called for a charge as well. That ignited a 10-0 Drexel run as the Dragons took a 66-53 lead with just over four minutes remaining.
The Dragons raced out to an early 8-0 lead to start the game and increased the lead to 15 points in the first half. Loyola chipped away at the lead by closing the half with a 12-5 run and cut the Dragons' lead to 39-31. Samme Givens led a balanced scoring attack with 10 points and seven rebounds. Five Drexel players had at least five points in the half as the team shot 54 percent in the half.

Jamal Barney led Loyola with 21 points, but made just eight of 25 from the line.
Drexel returns home and is off until next weekend. The Dragons play Penn in the Palestra at 7 p.m. on Saturday night.
