Women's Tennis Poised For Match-up With Temple Today

Philadelphia - Drexel women's tennis will square off against its Philadelphia rival Temple today in a 12:30 p.m. match at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center in Manayunk. The Dragons are 4-2 entering today's match, following a dominant 7-0 win at St. Peter's on Sunday. The Owls (2-3) are coming off a 5-2 loss to Xavier on Feb. 7 in A-10 play.
The Dragons have been led this season by the play of Elise Leizerovich at fourth singles. She has a 5-1 record in match play and is 7-3 overall. Sunday's match also saw the return of sophomore Sonja Stosic, who missed the entire fall season with an injury. Stosic won in straight sets against her St. Peter's opponent and also combined with Zineb Hilali for a doubles victory.
