Center Valley, Pa. - Drexel golf placed 13th of 19 teams at the Lafayette Invitational played at Center Valley Country Club. Senior Kyle Davis led the Dragons with a 154 in the two-round event. The team shaved 12 strokes off of its first-round score of 319 to finish with a 626. Binghamton won the event with a 600 while Bucknell's Andrew Cohen took medalist honors with a three-under par 141 for the tournament. The Dragons finished ahead of Saint Peter's, Fordham, Manhattan, Robert Morris, Hofstra and Wagner.

Davis' total of 154 placed him in a tie for 29th overall as he shot a first-round 78 and a second-round 76 on the par 72, 6916-yard course. Mike Serensits trimmed his first round score of 83 by eight strokes in the second to tie for 46th-place overall with a 158. Ben Feld also improved on a first-round 83 by firing a 76 to tie for 54th place. Andrew Lawson also shot a 159 for the tournament as he totaled 79 in the first and 80 in the second. James Braunsberg shot a 79 and an 81 to tie for 58th overall.
