Men's Basketball Meets Georgia State Tonight at 7 p.m.

Philadelphia - The Drexel men's basketball team wraps up a brief two-game homestand on Monday night with a CAA contest against Georgia State. It will be the only regular season meeting between the two teams. Drexel begins play with a 12-6 mark, while the Panthers are 8-10.
Drexel is now 4-4 in the CAA after a convincing 72-58 win against Northeastern on Saturday. Chris Fouch and Samme Givens each scored 17 points as the Dragons improved to 7-1 at the DAC this season. Fouch is still leading the team and is third in the CAA with 16.8 points per game. Givens is the only player in the CAA averaging a double-double with 12.2 points and 10.2 rebounds. Gerald Colds chips in with 10.4 points per game.
Georgia State lost a heartbreaker on Saturday to Delaware when Juwan Carter hit a three-pointer at the buzzer. With the loss the Panthers fell to 3-5 in CAA play. Eric Buckner leads the team with 10.7 points and 6.3 rebounds. He is shooting just under 58 percent from the floor. The Panthers are a deep team and regularly play 10 or 11 players in a game.
