The Drexel women's soccer team lost in a Colonial Athletic Association match at William & Mary on Friday night, 2-0. The Dragons fell to 4-6-3 overall and 2-2-1 in CAA play. The Tribe remains in first place in the CAA with a 5-0 record and a 10-1-2 overall record.
Junior Erin Liberatore scored the game-winning goal for the Tribe in the 10th minute, while sophomore Dani Rutter added another goal in the second half. Junior goalkeeper Katherine Yount made three saves on her way to posting her CAA-leading eighth shutout of the season.
William & Mary outshot Drexel, 34-7, in the match. Eve Badana made eight saves for the Dragons in goal. The Dragons will look to rebound on Sunday when they visit Old Dominion in a CAA match.
