Annapolis, Md. - Drexel men's tennis will look to get back in the win column after a pair of losses to Penn and Temple this spring. The Dragons will face Navy (5-1) on Sunday afternoon in Maryland. The Midshipmen are coming off a loss to North Carolina after winning five straight to start the season.
Nikoloz Kurdadze picked up the Dragons' lone win in a 6-1 dual match loss to Temple last Friday. Kurdadze anchors the Drexel lineup at first singles and leads the team in dual match victories thus far this season. Veterans Bryan Nguyen and Mehdi Rhazali will be looking to step up their games this weekend while the Dragons await the return of injured Dragons Manu Bajpai and Skyler Davis to the lineup.
Navy defeated Saint Joseph's, St. Francis (Pa.), St. Francis (N.Y.), Villanova and Howard to start the season before falling to No. 20 UNC last week. Owen Bullard is 5-1 at first singles for the Midshipmen while Zach Nicholson and Nicholas Gutsche are both 4-1 at third and fifth singles, respectively.
