Booth Pushes Forward in NCAA's; Wrestles Again Tomorrow at 10:30 With Coach Childs' Guidance

Philadelphia – Drexel Sophomore Joe Booth enters the second day of nationals after going 2-1, picking up his second win in the wrestleback bracket. Booth will pick up action tomorrow in the consolation bracket at 10:30 a.m. when he takes on CAA opponent Jim Resnick from Rider.
After a productive day at Nationals, Booth bumps his career best in wins to 25 including a win over UNC's Thomas Scotton, whom he lost to earlier this season in a 5-1 decision. Booth beat Scotton with a 5-0 decision to advance to the preliminary round of the tournament where he fell to Stephan Brusak of Penn in a 5-3 final decision. Booth then beat Kurt Swartz of Boise State with an 8-3 dominating performance to continue on.
Booth and Coach Childs continue their advance through nationals tomorrow, Friday, March 18th at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia.
