COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - On the day before Labor Day, the Drexel men's soccer team will visit the Air Force Academy, wrapping up its two-game trip through Colorado. Drexel earned a 3-3 draw with Denver on Friday and will be looking for its first victory of the season at Air Force on Sunday. That game is set for a 3:00 p.m. Eastern kickoff.
The Dragons have demonstrated a balanced, proficient scoring attack in the early going of 2012. Drexel has five goals in its two games, scored by five different players. That does not include last year's leading scorer, Ken Tribbett, who does have an assist this season. Drexel has also shown a comeback ability, overcoming deficits in each of its games thus far. On Friday, the Dragons came back from a 2-0 hole to earn the draw.
Drexel and Air Force are meeting for the first time in the programs' histories. The game is the final in a three-game road stretch to open the season for the Dragons. They play their first home game at Vidas Field on Friday against Lehigh.
