Golf Finishes Play at OBX Invitational to Wrap up Fall Season

Powells Point, N.C. – The Drexel golf team completed play on Tuesday at the OBX Invitational hosted by Old Dominion in Powells Point, North Carolina. The Dragons placed 17th overall, led by Chris Crawford's four-over par 217. Crawford's tournament was highlighted by a four-under par 67 in his second round, sandwiched between an eight-over 79 and an even-par 71 in the first and third rounds.
Freshman Yoseph Dance shot a 79-71-80—230 which marks his lowest score thus far in his college career. Senior Vincent Anagnos carded a 73-77-77—227 on the tournament, which was good for a tie for 67th place overall. Andrew Feldman finished with a score of 251 after shooting an 85 in the first round, followed by an 80 in round two and an 86 in round three. Alex Kane rounded out the Dragons' quintet at 96-81-80—257, good for 92nd place.
Virginia Commonwealth won the event overall, finishing with a team score of 843. Marshall's Logan Lagodich secured the individual title after a one-hole playoff with Jamison Randall of Old Dominion and Rocky Khara of VCU. The three tournament leaders finished competition with a six-under par score of 207.
This tournament marks the last competition of the fall season for the Dragons. Drexel will return to the links this spring, with schedule updates to be released soon.
