Squash Teams Roll By Connecticut College

NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Drexel men's and women's squash teams finished a perfect weekend in New England on Sunday, winning matches at Connecticut College. The women's team swept a 9-0 decision, while the men won by an 8-1 count.
On the men's side, the Dragons won at the top seven positions on the ladder, earning straight-sets victories in all but the No. 1 position, where Justin Singh grabbed a four-set 11-5, 10-12, 11-3, 11-5 victory. Also victorious were Michael Thompson, Mark Kauf, Sebastian Dangond, Noel Solomon, Joey Gingold, Nat Fry and Ben Bevan.
The women followed with a clean sweep of Connecticut College in their match, winning 9-0. In order, the winners for Drexel were Damindhi Udangawa, Mary Fung-A-Fat, Laura Rahauser, Kaitlyn Money, Disha Thahryamal, Courtney Sabo, Kristine Giltvedt, Alexandra Dodson and Claire Anderson.
Drexel will now return home to conclude the regular season with its final two home matches of the year, beginning Thursday evening when the Dragons host Haverford at 6:00 p.m.
