Dragons Finish First Trip to Auburn Invitational

The Drexel golf team finished in 15th place overall at the Auburn Tiger Invitational.The 2014 Tiger Invitational was presented by Jason Dufner at Grand National lake Course in Opelika, Alabama.
Auburn won the event it hosted with a blistering 842 over 54 holes. The Tigers were 12-under-par, 10 strokes better than Kennesaw State. Memphis placed third, nine-over-par, one stroke better than Mississippi State. Some of the other notable teams in the field were VCU, Troy, Western Carolina, Charlotte and Charleston Southern.
Drexel's Chris Crawford led the team and was tied for 22nd overall with a 221. Jacksonville State's Tomasz Anderson was the overall leader at 206, which is 10-under-par. Yoseph Dance shot a 236 and was tied for 61st overall. Finishing out the scoring for the Dragons was Scott Forrester at 251 and Vincent Anagnos at 252.
