Dragons Finish Seventh at Navy Spring Invitational

The Drexel golf team finished seventh at the Navy Spring Invitational held in Annapolis this weekend. The Dragons shot a two-day total of 606 at the par-71 Naval Academy Golf Club in Annapolis, Md.
Brian Fischer was the Dragons top finisher at the tournament. The freshman finished tied for 13th overall with a six-over-par 148. Chris Crawford and Yoseph Dance were next for the Dragons at 151. The pair tied for 25th overall. Vince Anagnos had a 156 over the 36-hole tournament.
Towson won the tournament with a 584, eight shots better than the U.S. Naval Academy. The overall medalist winner was Towson's Joe Gunerman. He fired a three-under-par 139.
The Dragons will close their season next weekend at the CAA Championships in North Carolina.
