Women's Squash Beaten by No. 2 Trinity, 9-0

PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel women's squash was swept by the No. 2 Bantums of Trinity on Tuesday at the Kline and Specter Squash Center. The loss drops the Dragons record to 0-5 on the season. Trinity improves to 7-0 with the win.
In the opening round of four matches the Dragons were swept in all of them. Ryan Morgan did her best to extend her match to four games with Raneem Sharaf but fell in the third game 11-6. Trinity did not let the Dragons get anything going in the other three matches. The Bantums held their respective Dragon opponents to five or fewer points in all games but Morgan's third game with Sharaf.
Elisa Money and Kiran Vasudevan both took the opening game of their matches in the second set of matches. Money battled in game two before falling to Anna Kimberley 12-10. Kimberley then took control in the third and fourth games winning by scores of 11-3 and 11-4, respectively. Vasudevan won the first game 11-9 over Natalie Babjukova. In game two, Vasudevan hung around before falling 11-6. Babjukova then made quick work of games three and four, winning by a combined 22-2.
The Dragons return to action this weekend for the Pioneer Valley Invitational in South Headley, Massachusetts. The Dragons will play four games over Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
