Day 2 Recap from UT Diving Invite

Day 2 Results
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – On the second day of competition at the UT Diving Invite the men competed in the 3-meter and the women switched to the 1m. All three Dragons failed to qualify for the finals.
David Sanchez finished 19th in the prelims of the 3-meter with a best of 234.30 out of his six dives. Simon Carne was 23rd with a best of 202.90 on the afternoon.
Like yesterday in the 1-meter, Mauricio Robles Rodriguez won after not qualifying first. Rodriguez posted a 405.40 in the finals to take the win.
Jaclyn Goulet was 44th in the 3-meter with a best of 149.55 out of her six dives. Lauren Reedy took the win with a 320.40 in the finals. Reedy won the 1-meter competition yesterday.
The three-day invitational will conclude tomorrow with the platform competition. The women start 10:30 a.m. with the men immediately following.

In the 1-meter prelims David Sanchez was 20th with a best dive of 226.20. Simon Carne was 23rd in the prelims, recording a 210.40 as his best of six dives. Neither Sanchez nor Carne were able to qualify for the finals. Mauricio Robles Rodriguez of the host Volunteers won the 3-meter competition with a 387.40 in the final.
Jaclyn Goulet was 40th in the 3-meter prelims with a best dive of 196.20. The mark is the second best mark for Goulet on the season. Lauren Reedy of Missouri won the 3-meter competition with a 324.60 dive in finals.
The divers are back at it tomorrow with the men's 3-meter and the women's 1-meter competitions.
