Women's Squash Beat by No. 10 Stanford in First Round of Kurtz Cup

CAMBRIDGE, Mass - The Drexel women's squash team fell in the first round of the Kurtz Cup to No. 10 Stanford, 7-2, on Friday afternoon. The Dragons fall to 8-11 on the season and will face Franklin & Marshall in consolation bracket tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.

The Dragons got wins from Elisa Money and Laura Rahauser in the fourth and fifth spots of the ladder respectively. Rahauser's win came in five games versus Sarah Haig. The junior won game five, 11-5, after dropping games three and four. Money's win came in the minmum, three, versus Alex Huchro.

Kaitlyn Money had a 2-1 lead before dropping games four and five, 14-12 and 11-2, to Tatyanna Dadabbo.

The Dragons will try to avenge a 7-2 defeat to Franklin and Marshall from earlier this season when the two sides meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The winner will play at 9 a.m. on Sunday with the loser playing at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
