Women's Squash Tops No. 14 Franklin and Marshal at Kurtz Cup

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Drexel women's squash team finished the 2014-15 season with a win over No. 14 Franklin and Marshall on Saturday at the Kurtz Cup. The No. 15 Dragons conclude the team season with a 9-11 overall record. The consolation bracket final that was scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled due to the impending weather.

The Dragons got wins from numbers 1-8 in their ladder and five of those wins came by way of 3-0 sweeps. With the win the Dragons avenge a loss from earlier in the season to the Diplomats.

Elisa Money and Laura Rahauser got wins for the second straight day in the four and five slots of the ladder. Hayley Hughes, Mary Fung-A-Fat, Kiran Vasudevan, Money and Rahauser all won in sweeps. Kaitlyn Money finishes the season with 14 wins after her triumph versus Dulaskshi Elikewela, which led the Dragons this season.

The Dragons return to action for the Individual Championships in Princeton, New Jersey on February 28 through March 1.
