Men's Squash Goes 2-0; Women's Squash Goes 1-1 in Washington D.C.

WASHINGTON D.C. - The Drexel men's and women's squash teams wrapped up their 2014-15 regular season in Washington D.C. on Saturday. The men went 2-0 versus No. 16 George Washington and Virgina and the women split with No. 8 George Washington and No. 23 Virginia. The men conclude the season with a 9-8 record and women finish 2014-15 with an 8-10 mark.
Against George Washignton, Luke Willemse got a win in five sets for the Dragons in the number two spot of the ladder in five games. Cillian Dunne had a 3-1 win over James Reiss in the five spot. Lower down the ladder, the Dragons got wins from Mark Kauf, Nat Fry and Joey Gingold. Fry's and Gingold's wins were 3-0 sweeps.
For the women versus George Washington Elisa Money, Laura Rahauser and Kaitlyn Money got the Dragons their three wins. Elisa Money's got her win in three without giving up more than six points in any one game. Rahauser's and Kaitlyn Money's wins came in four games each.
In the second match of the afternoon both the men's and women's team swept Virginia. Eight of the nine victories for the Dragon men came via a 3-0 sweep. The same can be said for the women.
Up next for the Dragons are the team championships. The men's will take place in Hartford, Connecticut on February 20-22 and the women's will be in Hartford, Connecticut on February 13-15.
